We thought it would be helpful to outline what you can expect as a patient if you are a new patient.
First impressions
436 Dental, we greet all patients even before they walk through the door. When you call to make an appointment, our friendly receptionists will help you find a convenient time and will answer any questions you may have. When you arrive, you’ll be greeted by friendly, compassionate staff and a welcoming, relaxing environment.
First Appointment
You will be given a medical questionnaire to complete and will have the opportunity to change any personal information on your file. The dentist will also perform a thorough examination, which may include digital photographs and x-rays, as well as numerous questions about your lifestyle, general health, and oral hygiene habits. If a dental problem is discovered, it will be thoroughly discussed.
Treatment Planning
If additional treatment is required, a plan will be developed that outlines everything you can expect from our service as well as the costs involved. You will be given as much time as you require to ask questions and weigh your options. You’ll also be informed about the aftercare you can expect, as well as whether you’ll need to take time off to recover from treatment. After you have confirmed that you are satisfied with your treatment plan, treatment can begin – in some cases, during the same appointment, especially if the dentist needs to relieve pain. Post Treatment
We will not send you home without a clear understanding of what you need to do to keep your teeth and gums clean and free of infection. We will contact you for follow-up checks and hygiene appointments, and we will try to see you as soon as possible if you have any concerns after your treatment.
